Buck (above) and doe (right) out of Beauty and by Bud. These are Purebred Nubian kids with pedigrees that are hard to beat! Definite show/producing prospects for 4-H or open. Buck $125 Doe $175 Both will come with registration application and be tattooed prior to sale.
Windrose Farm is proud to welcome the kid crop of 2005! All kids are sired by "Bud" and the dams are all listed on the doe page. Discounts are given to 4-H/FFA (on purebred kids), quantity and “early” pickups. Kids can be either dam raised or bottle fed, so if you have a preference, order early! All our 2005 kids will be dam raised for maximum growth unless ordered before birth, and listed prices are good until they are 8 weeks old! |
In 2004 we had a wonderful sale year! We started with 10 does which gave us 21 kids and all kids (except the 2 Nubians above) are sold as well as several of the does. We would like to thank everyone that purchased from us last year! |
All the remaining kids on this website are BoerXNubian (50/50). A few are registerable (Eve's and Star's babies as 50%), the rest are not registered. The top kid pictured is a doe. In the sleeping pair, the brown kid is a doe, the white kid is a buck. Below them the white kid walking is a doe. In the bottom left picture, of one kid in the feeder, both are buck kids (Eve's kids). In the pictures directly below, the white kid is a doe and the brown kid is a buck. The last picture below, the tan kid is a buck. Total we have 9 kids, 5 bucks and 4 does! Prices for Boer/Nubian crosses are $60 for wethers and $100 for does. The wethers will make nice 4-H show wethers and the does should be wonderful future producers or 4-H show animals as well. My sister's shows 50% does 2 years ago and did VERY well competing against the "boys".
All kids were born between 2/9 and 2/16 and pics were taken at about one week old, updated pics will be posted avery few weeks as I have time, but please email me for more pics sent privately if you are interested.
